This book is an attempt to the study of Islamic History. It traces the reason for historical changes and the rise and fall of nations from Islamic point of view. We are conscious of the fact that Islamic scholarship, during the past few centuries, has been more or less mechanical and semantic rather than interpretive or scientific, our efforts, are directed towards breaking the thaw in Islamic History. An Attempt has also been made to compare and contrast the Islamic concept of history with some of the modern philosophies of History.
